Peter G. Georgeson …his art could very likely be considered the reincarnation of the meaningful works of art from the Renaissance Era. He has clearly defined a genre of art all his own. With a direct influence of the great masters’ traditions along with the zest to innovate from a current perspective, he is representative of a recovered spirit of the traditional masters.

Peter descends from a paternal lineage of artisans. He was born to an artist, George P. Georgeson in Jamestown NY and grew up in Dallas drawing race cars and cartoon characters. With a suitcase of paints and some stubble on his chin, he took a train to New York City, studied at Pratt Institute of fine arts and with his BFA went to work as a graphic designer in the big city. Nine years later he journeyed west to Seattle and disembarked on an illustration career, embellishing many a book with his drawings and paintings. Some of his titles include, The Untamed Heart; Totally Aliens; The Magic Nose; and Totally Bugs. All along though, it was his deeper more personal vision and appreciation of the fine art masters that has driven him to produce this amazing new genre of art.

George P. Georgeson …was born to a confectionery artist, Peter G. Georgeson in Eerie, PA and grew up in Pennsylvania drawing cartoons and cars. He earned his degree at the Albright Art School in Buffalo and showed great promise as a painter. Ultimately he chose a career in commercial art producing meticulously rendered airbrush illustrations and photo retouching. Click here to view some of his work.
